On returning from a recent 11 day-Gold Plan trip to the BC-I have nothing but good reports about the staff at BC. From the first moment we arrived to the time we checked out all were helpful and willing to accomodate any reasonable requests. Two examples (and I have a ton more!): While swimming at SAB, my DS found a wedding ring at the bottom of the pool and turned it in to the front desk. When we returned to our room that evening, standing on the dresser was a postcard addressed to DS, with a helium balloon bouquet attached wishing him a magical stay. The postcard was a colour photo of all the disney characters in front of the castle, autographed by every one of them.
When we got home, I was reviewing our checkout invoice and noticed that my DD length of stay pass to the fitness centre had been charged to our room (should have been included on our Gold Plan). I wrote to BC guest services, received a confirmation that my email had been received an hour later. The next evening I got a reply from BC apologizing for their error and informing me that a credit had been applied to my credit card that day. Talk about quick service.
We were extremely impressed with the staff, from Bell services, front desk (James), mousekeeping (Yvonne was awesome), to the staff in the restaurant (Sammi and Rhonda), just to name a few. They really did make our stay "magical".

Thanks for the great report! We leave on Sunday to go to the Beach Club, and can't wait!

Do you know if there was a microwave available anywhere? Yes, I have a very picky 4 year old! And do you know if you can request a coffeepot from housekeeping? I know they aren't in the room.

Glad to hear you had such a great trip!

To our knowledge, microwaves are not available in the BC rooms. I think concierge and BC villas have microwaves. My DS had his popcorn popped by Guest Services in the Staff lounge. (Like I said, very accomodating staff). You can ask for a coffeemaker (2-3 cups) when you check in, it's free of charge but you do have to supply your own coffee, filters etc. You can buy prepackaged coffee filters in the shop next to the lobby (I think it was about $5). We requested extra pillows, blankets and a coffee maker and they were in our room when we returned from ldinner.

Thank you so much--I will pack the coffee. My DH is so much nicer when he has had a cup first thing in the morning! And I will just get my DD pizza every day for lunch, then I don't have to worry about a microwave. Nice to know they popped the popcorn for you.

This doesn't surprise me! The staff at the YC is always great too, so I would expect the same from their sister resort!

To be honest, I'm the one that growls like a bear before my morning coffee also. I didn't realize that you didn't have to wait in your room when you requested things be brought up. I left a tip on the dresser with a thank you. (Received a nice note back too!)

Oh! Just another note: Our Mousekeeper, Yvonne, left us a towel animal or arranged our stuff toys on our beds every day. The cutest I saw was the towel animals wrapped around drinking glasses for our tooth brushes. She was amazing.

Art the Greeter was still in fine form. We just love him.
