Wow, I've been reading all the other reports and was surprised how many dis'ers were there.

Sunday was day 3. DD and I went to the MK after a nice breakfast at WL. I haven't been to WL in about a year and was glad we chose to go over. MK was pretty packed but the lines for BTM and SM weren't that bad. We actually got a FP for SM and then stood in line. It said 40 minutes but we actually only waited maybe 20. The tickers were extremely exaggerated this weekend. Some said 50-60 minutes and we practically walked on the ride. We went back to the fort about 3 and looped for a while then went to Trails End for dinner. The food was good and the service was so so. It was real busy so what can you do.

Afterwards we went to the MGM bus stop. After waiting for about 30 minutes a bus pulls up and drops people off at the shelter. We thought maybe this was something new and he would pull over by the sign and get us afterwards. Well he ends up driving right past us. People were hitting the bus and screaming lol. I called the front desk and they patched me thru to central transportation. A bus arrived shortly afterwards. MGM was packkked. A lot of folks were leaving but coming as well. RNR Coaster was packed as usual. BTW last night was EMH. T of T was busy but moving quickly. We rode it 4 times and R N R Coaster twice. Afterwards we went to the Osborne Lights area and walked around for a while taking in the beautiful sights of them. They now dance to music lol. About every 15 minutes they announce them fixing to dance thanks to Sylvania.

Getting back on the bus was better than going over. It still stops at WL but was pretty quick and painless.

We ended up going to AK today after checking out. It was packed as well but the funny thing was the rides weren't that bad. I'm not sure why the tickers said so much longer but we practically walked non stop onto Kali River and Everest. We decided to try the new Yak & Yeti restaurant by Kali River. It was nice but my sweet & sour pork was $15 and DD's kids meal was $9 and a sald was $6. The portions were good but I could've gone to the wok & roll by my house for 10 bucks for what they gave us. If you try it don't expect the world. They have counter service as well. Just as a suggestion, DD and I usually go to Flame Tree and get a rib plate and chicken plate then share from each other. Not badly priced either.

As we were leaving my fifth wheel hitch broke again. I think this is about the 7th time. If anybody has a pullrite hitch and your capture plate bolts break please inform me what is up lol. For those of you who don't know what a pullrite hitch is, it is an automatic slider hitch designed for short wheel base trucks pulling a 5'er. I used up my inventory of new bolts (the other one's shear off) so we had to go to Home Depot and get more. It takes about 30 minutes to unhook the whole thing and get it straightened out. I called the local distributor who is taking a look at it tomorrow. They have no idea why it breaks. My tailgate btw has a big dent about 6 inches from the center on each side where the hitch slams into it when the bolts give way and it slides backward. I'm waiting til the problem is solved before I spend 800 bills on a new gate. The hitch costs 2k new and you'd think it would be better than this. If they can't get it resolved I'm giving it back for a paper weight and going to see Mr. Reese.

Hopefully see a lot more trip reports. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Please keep us updated on your hitch situation. That is such a bummer that you have to buy a new gate. I was worried the whole gate was going to come off since this has happened many times before. There is only so many times it can take that abuse! Let us know.

I noticed you didn't mention the boat ride much. Is that because of the ruckus you caused last time, you are relegated to the steerage class busses?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Look bucko, that was one for the seniors my friend. Just for your info FW has me taken to the parks by private coach now. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No in all honesty the boats were great. No stops at the WL. As close as WL is to MK I wish they'd use the smaller boats. The boat ride no matter if it stops at WL is one of my favorite fort things. We usually hit MK after setting up and it gives you that you're home feeling seeing the castle and space mountain.

Oh and btw, my check in package had a bottle of Prozac in it. Is that something new?

Sounds like your having a great time! Wish i was there.......That trailer and the dent in my tail gate would have really steamed my hinnie:guilty: Cant wait to see your pictures!

Great report. I'm waiting for more. Did you see any ash/dust around?

:thumbsup2

From what I've read on this board and the other DIS boards, the bus system was a mess last week. :scared1:

How old is your dd ?? Mine are 11 and 13 and I can't get away with ordering kids meals for either of them...sigh.
