St Thomas Taxis??

We are thinking of hitting up the Red Hook area on St. Thomas during our upcoming cruise. I'm guessing taxis to get there will not be a problem. I'm wondering if taxis back will be? Specifically if we're coming from the American Yacht Harbor area?

Also, any idea on costs of a taxi ride to Red Hook? According to our online search, no Uber drivers on the island (untapped market, anyone?!).

People with sufficiently nice vehicles to Uber can make more as a private driver. Private taxi from the airport to Red Hook can charge $90.

Havensight to Red Hook will be ~$10 per person for a group of 2+.
