St. thomas immigration

Does anyone know what time you must meet with immigration before getting off the ship in St. Thomas? Do the children have to attend this also? Thank you in advance.

Times are assigned by cabin number. Don't know more on the times than that.

At this point everyone has to report for this nonsense, inlcuding the kids.

On our 5/3/03 cruise, we weren't assigned a time by cabin number, but those with excursions were to meet an hour earlier than the non-excursion guests.

It was EARLY! 7 AM if I recall. But don't sweat it- it was a breeze- took minutes. A quick glance at ID's and key cards and it was over. And YES- kids do have to show up too! We just cruised through on our way to breakfast. Couldn't have been easier!

This past week the people on excursions had to show up at 6:00 or so and everyone else had to show up between 7:00 and 8:00 am. Kids had to attend. It was fine and moved quickly. We were in and out in about 15 minutes.

Each evening of this past week's cruise (5/17), at the close of the stage shows, the cruise director, Rick, would give instructions for morning activities. I think they made the same announcements on loud speaker. They made sure that those going to early excursions would be through with immigration. Everything went VERY smoothly. The only excursion group that needed a little more coordination was the St. John Island Tour and St. John Trunk Bay tour, which met in the Buena Vista Theater. The rows of seats are very crowded and they kept having us move around, get in groups, line up, go down for tickets, etc. Could have been better thought out.

It was wonderful and beautiful and next time we are going to try the Trunk Bay Tour!
