St Maarten Vs Nassau?

we been to nassau in aug 2003 and the people were very pushy and a bit rude. are the people in St Maarten nicer then in nassau? i hope so. if you have been to both places please let me know. thanks

I loved st Maarten we walked from the ship to a taxi stand, nice clean air conditioned mini vans willing to take you any where on either side of the island for about $5.00 a person, no vultures waiting at the docks wanting to sell you something, or if you just wan't to do some shopping "great prices"just hop on the ferry, it will take you downtown and back all day for a really low price
