St. Maarten excursions

Hi everyone,

This is a great website. I've learned so much, yet I still have questions. We're taking the 7-day eastern in April 2004 (much too far away) and was wondering about the shore excursions.

Particularly interested in the Butterfly Farm. Is the Disney shore excursion worth the money or could we do it on our own. I figure that it costs maybe twice as much to buy through Disney, but you do have the convenience factor.

Any opinions?

We did the Sea and See excursion at St. Marten. It was very nice, relaxing and the sea part was wonderful! It was a great overview of the entire island and a chance to see the French side. The bus was A/C'd and comfortable.
