St Maarten excursion question!!

Ok...I read on here somewhere you can horseback ride in St. Maarten.....Is it on a Beach? Can you reserve it through Disney or a private company in St. Maarten? Do you have to call them and reserve it? Any help would be MUCH appreciated!!!

There is no Disney excursion for horseback riding on St Maarten. We are doing on are own this July. We've booked through Lucky Stables on the Dutch Side. Thier website is:

There was (is) a stable on the French side near the Butterfly Farm and Orient Beach. It's not part of a Disney excursion. I don't recall the name. I would imagine the riding would be beautiful there. Orient Beach is breathtaking. Maybe someone else recalls the name.

this site has excursions for many different islands and I hope I linked you to the horseback riding one on St. Maarten. Looks like it goes to Orient Beach. I believe Rae519 has used shoretrips.com, though I don't know what excursion she did through them. She may be able to comment on how good they are to set your mind at rest about their quality, etc.
