We are a family of 7: My parents, us , and 3 kids, ages 13, 6, and 6. I am trying to find excursions for everyone. After looking at the list for St Maarten, I have sort of narrowed things down to either the Under 2 Flags Island Tour or the See and Sea Island Tour.

Does anyone have experience with either of these? What age group are these good/bad for? Was it worth the $$?

Any comments for either of these, or if you have a better suggestion for this group (we don't have to stay together, but it is an option) would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks... Paul

The See & Sea includes a ride on a semi-submersible submarine. The coral life viewed from this boat was great. A diver takes food around the outside of the boat so fish come out and give you great viewing. The small kids in our party particularly enjoyed this.

My 5 yo DD loved the See and Sea. She was kind of bored with the drive around the island, but she liked the market at Marigot, and LOVED the semi-submersible. I would say it's definitely worth a try, I wouldn't necessarily do it twice (although my daughter has requested it for our next cruise). The most exciting thing we saw were starfish.
