St. Louis to MCO DING for October

Woo Hoo! Just got $59 one way DING special from STL-MCO for our trip in October! I've had the flight booked since June at $197 per person RT for DH and DD. Mine was free using Rapid Rewards Credit which was why I booked early--to make sure I could use my credit. Today, with the DING, their RT flight dropped to $137 per person. And I've got $140 credit to use for our March or May trips!

MY FIRST DING BOOKING!

My trip is 10/31 - 11/05 so unfortunately, no joy on the return flight.

Had booked previously at 109 to and 159 (YUCK) on the return plus tax/fees x 2. Since that was round trip, had to cancel, book the ding one way and then book the return (still 159YUCK) as one way.

So have a 100.00 credit and HOPEFULLY will see a ding or at least a sale later so can rebook the return.

Feel like I just passed a test or something!

Awesome news for you! This gives me hope that there will be some dings later in the year for our trip at the beginning of Dec. It will be our first trip out of STL (moving from Northern Virginia). I'm used to getting $39 dings for Baltimore to Orlando, so I wasn't thrilled about booking $109 each way!

Welcome to St Louis I too was able to take advantage of the DING specials for October FINALLY! I get so impatient. St. Louis usually has a lot of great fares to MCO. You just have to play the waiting game

Welcome to Missouri! We usually go to Florida in May and October and can usually get $59 or $69 one way from either St. Louis or Kansas City on SWA. I've never found a $39 one way fare though. Waiting for those DINGS can be so frustrating though!

This afternoon's ding was again STL to MCO. Flight I was ticketed on went down to 49! So did the whole process again and now my credit is up another $20.

Was really surprised to see STL to Orlando again.

Now, come on November ding/sales!

Could anyone tell me how far in advance the SW Ding fares usually go. I am looking for STL to MCO in December and don't want to miss it.
