If you had to choose one spectacular beach which would it be: Trunk Bay or Cinnamon Bay on St John or Shoal Bay on Anguilla?

Travelling with a party of five including a seven and four year old. Most important criteria is not to be hassled by beach vendors (I find it difficult to relax even if I have to politely say no every five minutes). I only want to take aa ferry on one of the port days.

Thanks.

I have no experience with Anguilla, though when we take our next Eastern Cruise that's where we'll probably end up. We've been to St. John MANY times and have NEVER been hassled while sitting on the beach. Trunk Bay is very peaceful, though it does get a little crowded for my tastes when there are a lot of Cruise ships in port. If you've ever vacationed on St. John, you'd understand. Usually there are no more than 10 people on a beach at one time, so usually when we vacation there we go to Trunk early in the AM and leave around 10 - 11 and head to one of the other beaches that the cruise passengers don't frequent. Having a car and a villa to return to makes that easy. I think you'd have a relaxing and hassle free visit to Trunk Bay on St. John.

I've been to St. John many times (land-based vacations) and I have NEVER
seen a beach vendor on any beach. I don't believe it's allowed.

Another vote for St. John. It is amazing!

The only time we've been to Anguilla is fo the Dolphin excursion. We were at a beach there and it was very nice!
