St Croix excursions

Carambola Resort beach is DAVIS BAY BEACH which I was told is a good beach to go to, You can call the resort direct for information at
888-503-8760.
As for my family we are going to go horseback riding in St. Croix and then take a taxi over to Cane Bay beach, or Rainbow Beach they are both rated in St. Croixs top ten beaches.....the beaches are free, and the taxi ride is $5-8.00 a person each way.

The Cruzan Rum Factory tour is not as glamorous as it sounds..in fact, it quite quick (albeit impressive) and, in places, dangerous (missing steps on stairs and practically No safety concerns) so, if you are travelling with youngsters, be warned (or oldsters, too)..the rum-tasting room is nice but not very elegant....if you want to hang out and drink rum (LOTS of rum) then this is a fun excursion. If you want to see how rum is made, allow no more than a half hour for the actual tour (there might be people ahead of you)....I have pics somehwhere if you'd be interested. I could pm them to you or something........
