How far is st augustine from disney resort?
Is it worth the trip with kids for a day?

Depending on traffic, it can take 2 hours. I love it there. My Mom & Sister live 30 minutes from there. I think it would be worth the drive. There is so much to do there.

AND their outlet mall has a good Disney outlet..I usually see different stuff then the ones in Orlando

St Augustine vies with WDW for being my favorite place in the world! There's lots to do. Anastasia State Park has a beautiful beach (other beaches at St Augustine allow driving on the beach but the state park does not). The Alligator Farm is a blast! There's also a 16th century fort, a lighthouse, various boat rides, jetskiiing, a beautiful river with a charming old bridge (the Bridge of Lions--I decorate my house with images of the bridge!), a lovely historic area with plenty of restaurants and shops, guides tours, ghost tours, etc., etc.
