Cookie's vet called me late this afternoon. Unfortunately, she does have cancer in her jaw.

I'm going to pick Mark up from his game (he's umpping and it just started pouring and lightening and thundering).

On top of this news, tomorrow would have been my dad's 85th birthday. Not exactly how I wanted to go into Mother's Day weekend.

Oh Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear that the news about Cookie was not good. Hopefully, the vet can offer treatment options to either cure the cancer or at least keep it from spreading.
