Thank you, Glen.

Thanks, Mary. And thanks for the hugs.

Thank you, Jill.

Thank you, friend.

Thanks, Stefy. I'm working on those ADR time changes today.

Thanks, Jen...I appreciate it.

Well last night was interesting to say the least. Cookie could have nothing to eat after 7 p.m. Well, she doesn't get normal dog treats because she has allergies and she has always been on a "carrot" for her snack. She gets one every time she goes out to do her thing and comes back in. We did ice cubes last night because she could have as much water as she wanted, just no food. She was not a happy camper. I swear she knew somethign was up.

I gave her a big hug this morning and our oldest, Andy, took her to the vet at 8 a.m. after we left for work (we leave for work at 6:30 every morning). He said she fought getting in the car with him, but then the only one she likes getting in the car with is my husband (she knows when I take her in the car it means vet or hair cut).

funny how animals always sense when something is different, our dog growing up always knew when we were taking her to the vet too, when we made the last turn she started shaking and tried to hid under the seats!

hope all goes well today .... for you too Kathy

Yes, Cookie shakes too when we turn a certain corner. It's funny how they can sense/know these things. Thanks for the hug.

hope everything turns out fine.

Thank you, dear Dan.

Happy thoughts and :goodvibes for Cookie today! Anxious to hear how things go!

Thanks; I am heading to lunch and hope to have a phone call by the time I get back.

Hi, hon. I just wanted to say that I'm thinking of you and Cookie today. :goodvibes

It's amazing to me. I can't remember what I'm doing half the time, but I can remember that my dear DIS friend needs some prayers for her sweet dog on Monday.

Kat, you just brought a tear to my eye -- thank you! I just finished posting a response on your TR.

The vet called me (who I love by the way...she is terrific) at 1:00.

Cookie is up and walking around (the vet thought for sure she'd be sleepy all afternoon). The mass turned out to be very solid and not mushy like she thought it was, and took a little more time to deal with. She razored off what she could, but it was actually in her jaw and around her gums (her tooth was saved as it was not around the tooth as anticipated) and very hard. She actually had to go in and take part of the bone. She cleaned her teeth while they were in and also cut her toenails which had gotten really long since we now groom her ourselves and she won't let us near them. Her mouth is a little swollen and she gave her a pain shot and will send home paid meds for her for the next week to ten days. She can eat tonight but we should soften her food as she might have trouble chewing.

Now the hard part...it will be about ten days before we have results, depending on how busy the lab is and they will have to cut the bone to fit under the glass for the microscope, etc.

But she said Cookie did beautifully during the procedure and is anxious to come home. We're picking her up at 6 p.m.

Hi Kathy,
