Hoping the next ten days fly by with good news at the other end. After we lost our dog several years ago I swore I wouldn't have another one. We weren't around enough to take care of her the way she deserved and I didn't want to go through that again.

What a bummer that FD misses you trip! I saw a few folks suggest adding a day on to your trip. so does that mean if you start your trip during the FD period it carries over through the length of your trip?

Sorry I've not responded to everyone; I've been having trouble getting on the DIS at night (and I know I'm not the only one).

Cookie's vet called me late this afternoon. Unfortunately, she does have cancer in her jaw.
