I'm having a "parental" moment here. Markie just called to say he picked up his cap and gown for graduation on May 14. I guess this makes it real...my BABY is graduating from college. I'm happy and sad at the same time.

Oh man, your baby is graduating! I'm sure that will be such a bittersweet moment for you Kathy. Congratulations to Markie though!! You know, my baby just turned 8 a couple of days ago! Life is hard, I wish I could keep them small forever!

Just hung up the phone with my friend and his son is on his way back to the States. He should be at the hospital by the base in Georgia by Monday or Tuesday. Once Bob knows for sure when he is arriving, they will book their flights and get down there. Collin still has no sensation in his right hand/arm so please keep the prayers going.

Kathy, Congratulations to all of you! Happy and sad at the same time. Just think you will have other milestones to look forward to: Weddings, grandchildren and then the first trip with the grandchildren to DISNEY!!! All part of life and now you and Mark can now start getting closer to your dream of living in Florida!! We have now taken that first step by putting our main house in NC for sale!! We are probably about 10 years or so older than you guys but our goal is also the southwest coast of Florida probably in the Ft. Myers area!! Who knows we may meet you guys down there someday. Enjoy it all it goes fast as I am sure you know. Elaine PS Great news about your friends son on his way back to the states.

I also wanted to let you know wè will be praying for your friend`s son Unfortunately we know all too well how devastating this war can be....one of Jasmine`s friends lost her dad when he was stationed in Afganistan when a roadside bomb caused their vehicle to roll and he was killed. Shortly after she lost her dad, her mom was killed here in a rollover accident...it was absolutely awful!

I promise you, I will pray for this young man every night

Thanks, Queen. All are hoping that the young man will be back in the States by Tuesday and hopefully they will find out why he has no sensation in his right hand/lower arm. How sad about Jasmine's friend.
