Well, they announced for Disney Visa cardholders free dining August 28 - September 24. Wouldn't you know...it ends the day before we get there.

Kathy, here is a thought...but I did not do the math yet. But, what if you added the 24th to your pkg; would you save money overall (that is if the free DDP is released to the public). You could go check in but not stay the night and you do not have to add an extra day to your ticket just the extra night. May end up cheaper than the current DDP plan you guys have!?! and it would give you an extra day on the DDP....
again, just a thought!

I think it's strange that they are offering Free Dining for September again! I wonder if they are going to extend it through the Fall...they're releasing discounts at such weird times this year! That's too bad it ends the day before you arrive...maybe you could add a day?

Right now, we have 25% off the room only. I'm not sure which would come out cheaper.

That is a thought...I'll have to look into it. But will they know that I'm booked at the AKL for that night?

Cookie is fine; she has been having to go out an piddle a lot lately, but that could be because she hurries up to go outside because she hates the rain and that is all that it does is RAIN here lately.

I just hope they'll extend free dining when they announce to general public and make my life easier.

We're already going early, but staying AKL on DVC points and we are NOT getting the dining plan for those two nights at AKL.

Evening Kathy !!I have been putting in VERY Long days this week and doesn;t look like I can take anytime OFF till middle of next week !!I ran it by the BIG Boss and she said I deserved a couple of days off next week and to find someone to take call for me !! I noted she didn;t volunteer !!

We're giving Cookie a haircut tomorrow and then we drop her off at 8 a.m. on Monday. I just wish it wouldn't take a week afater to get the results.

Thanks, Brook. It's very weird that they ended it when they did...we've always been able to get the free dining through the end of September.

As soon as we know what is going on with Cookie, I will post an update.

Yes, I know FD is going public tomorrow, but it ends a day before we get there unless they extend the dates.

I would definitely do the math and see what comes out cheaper. I don't they care how many rooms you have booked throughout the property.
