We stayed at ssr in aug and are going back the 1st week on may. Anything special to do there with families

I don't know if you spent any time at Community Hall when you were there in August...but our family really enjoyed that. We were there in June when things were just getting started...but it sounds like they offer even more activities now. We spent 1/2 a day between there and there arcade!

We also had a lot of fun on Sunday afternoon when there were games/races at the pool. We never made it to the Turf Club...but I can see us enjoying a little down time up there around the pool table.

There's also the spa...and they have some kids programs (I think they have to be at least 10).

Walk around the lake...tons of things to do at DTD. We even saw a movie over there last time.

We did the spa in aug. and they can be as young as 4 dd 6 and dn 4 did my 1st pedicure and manicure. What is the turf club? We get down sun. and are planning to stay around the pool so it will be neat to see what is going on. We did not get to ch but plan to try this time.

The Turf Club is a small "bar" area to the left of Artists Point (as you face AP). There is a TV and a pool table and about 6 or 7 tables and some couches to sit at. There is a service counter to order some food from the limited snack menu and some drinks. It's a nice place to stop and have a snack, some drinks and just relax. There is also seating on the porch that faces the golf course and waterway.

Yes, there's a fitness center! Hooray! And from what I've heard here, it's one of the best on-sit. There aren't washer/dryers inside the studio room, but there are laundry rooms.
Broadband I can't help with because I go on vacation I really go on vaction

Yes they have hi speed internet access ports in the room. I don't think there's WIFI anywhere at SSR yet.

Worked great when we were there.

No, and it is a great gym and spa area.
