I know that SSR is being renovated. I watched a couple of you tube videos for the preferred dedicated 2BR villas and noticed they now sleep 9 with the pull down bunk. We have stayed in a standard dedicated 2BR in the Paddock area a few times in the past. Do the standard 2BR in the Paddock area now sleep 9 or is it just the preferred rooms?

All will sleep 9 when the reno is complete. All Pref view are complete and they have been working on the std view. You could get lucky and geta new std view, but don't count on it.

The most recent update I read on DISboards (sorry, can't find the post right now) is that all the standard sections are complete except Grandstand, and they're working on the last buildings in that section. So all of the SSR renovations should be complete - and all 2BR should sleep 9 - within the next few months if not sooner. Don't know how long it will take Disney to update their website, though, to reflect the change.

Two of my daughters just recently stayed in the Paddock area (a 2BR and a studio) and they reported that the rooms there have been redone (and are significantly better than what existed before), so you might want to request that area with standard view.
