We are staying there Mar 12-17th and will be able to report back once we return. I too was a bit concerned initially about all the questionable reviews. When reviewing those reviews, most pertained to either the walking involved or the limited dining experience.
The walking (and I'm thinking about 10 mins at most to either the main pool or DDT(ok maybe 15)) I look at as an opportunity to communicate with my family and enjoy my surroundings. I've also researched all the walking/jogging trails in the resort too so I may be a bit weird in this department.
The dining issues to us are non-existent as we have rented a 1 bedroom so we can provide our own breakfast and lunches and for dinners have planned a mix of dining in and visiting various eateries around the resort. I'm not one to eat at one establishment the entire stay. I like a little variety.
Go with a positive attitude and know that anything associated with Disney is usually good.
