SSR - will I get a paper parking pass or magic band for Theme park parking

I keep hearing conflicting reports on whether resorts are still issuing the paper parking pass or just scanning magic bands at the Theme Parks. We are staying at Saratoga Springs.

Stayed at SSR back in November and received a paper parking pass upon check-in at the front desk.

Yes you can, if they are still handing them out.

Was at SSR in October and did NOT get a paper parking pass. The Magic Band worked excellently and they scanned that on entry to the parks.

Did you actually check-in at the front desk, or use direct-to-room?

Direct-to-room didn't work for us back in Nov (maybe because it was booked 2 days out), so we had to go to the front desk to check-in where we were give a parking pass.

Just checked out of SSR yesterday. Checked in at front desk, and did receive a paper parking pass. But did use Magic Band to enter the resort for the first time to check in (in lieu of showing ID).
In December, received paper parking pass at OKW, but not at BCV.

I just checked out of SSR yesterday and did not receive a paper pass. We had a split stay between a studio and 1br so we checked in at the desk for the first part and direct to room on second.

We stayed at SSR in December and did not receive a paper parking pass. The Park parking attendants just scanned our magic bands to see that we were staying on property. We also used the magic bands to get into the resort.

I went to my room first and my magic band opened my door. I went to the lobby afterwards just to make sure there wasn't something else I needed to do and they said no, you're good to go.

Even if you get a pass, you still scan in (to raise the bar) from the far lane to get into the lot. If you don't have the band or a card then you go in the lane next to the guard and show ID (the pass allows that part to be skipped).
