SSR Where do I want to request?

We've stayed at SSR twice in the Congress Park area. We like that. This time we are coming w/ three small kiddos. Where should we be for pool access, bus service (because we'll be there for a short amount of time and the MK will be our main focus) and the food court? Thank you!

The Grandstand is the first bus stop for theme park buses and is close to the Carriage House (check-in, main restaurants). The Backstretch Bar at the Grandstand pool has a limited food menu.

Our favorite location for SSR is the Paddock. It is the middle bus stop, has a wonderful newer themed pool and kids area, and a pool bar with refillable mug station. It is a little longer walk to the quick service than it is from the Springs section, but we prefer it anyways.

I second the paddock area being good for a trip with little kids-the kids splash area is great with 2 slides and several water features-I posted a pic below
The pool bar also has a grill and serves basic sandwiches and stuff
I'd specifically request to be near the paddock pool as the paddock area is pretty big (5 buildings I think) so some rooms would be a decent walk to the paddock pool/bus stop

I agree that around Paddock or Grandstand is great for kids. I see Congress Park as more of a retreat for adults.

I agree that the Paddock pool is best for kids and the bus stop there is usually soon enough that you can get seats. You will have a bit of a hike to CS but unless that is something you plan to do very regularly I would request Paddock near the pool as well.

I'd request the paddock near the pool. It's an easy request for them to fulfill and the pool there is great for younger children. I would not put in other requests.

And very helpful for our December trip. I couldn't remember the section we stayed in last year, but it was Grandstand, first bus stop.
