SSR-What's the verdict?

I just wanted to hear from anyone who has been to SSR. What's the verdict? Is it another great DVC resort?

I have been out of the loop and not ton the boards for awhile. Has SSR even opened yet for people to stay there? How many pools? Is there a boat to DTD or OKW?

I can't wait to check it out.

Yes, it will be an exceptional resort, it's open, yes, finished, no, and that seems to be putting a crimp on it for right now as there are things they probably won't be doing as far as fit and finish until they finish construction. The core common buildings are very nice.

Yes, one building is open and being occupied. The room layout is nto far off of Beach Club Villas. They have two pools, one sprawling meanderng one with a slide and zero entry, the other is a more simple pool, but elegant nonetheless.

Is there a boat to DTD or OKW?

Yes, they now have two boat runs; one is OKW, SSR, DTD the other is PO and DTD. The boats used are smaller than a Friendship but bigger than the pontoon boats they used to run. Looks for posts from Webmaster Doc- he has lots of pics up.
