SSR-what area?

Hi all-will be travelling later in the year to SSR and am looking for advise on the area to request.I usually dont mind where we get as my 2 daughters are nearing the teen years and are both up for walking,but this year we are arriving with our new addition james who will be 7 months when we arrive.
Can anyone suggest where they think would be best to stay at SSR with a baby as we dont want to be too far away from everything?
Any other advise would be most welcome.

I would call and just request as close to the carriage house as possible. A room in the Springs or certain buildings in Grandstand would fit that request.

As TenThousandVolts said, the Springs and th Grandstand sections are both closest to the Carriage House, main pool, restaurants, community hall. We stayed in the closest Grandstand building and it was great. Right next to the pool at the Grandstand, 5 minute walk to the main pool and AP, a few minutes to the bus stop (which is the first section picked up/dropped off - great if you don't have a car). The Springs is the last bus stop and is directly across the street from the Carriage House, main pool, etc.

Since your hope is to be near everything (ie the carriage house), just have that as your preference. If you start mentioning specific sections, then you greatly limit the options for the room assigner. So just say "near Carriage House" and you'll be fine.

Congress Park is the best section imo...

where ever you stay the property is beautiful
