SSR Water Views?

We were told that all buildings at SSR would have elevators. We asked during purchase because my DD got to take the "stretcher and ambulance" ride from an OKW 3rd floor during one visit!

I booked our stay the day our points opened up - we were in the building which opened first - maybe I just got MS before the rest of DVC called in. The cast member I spoke with was very nice. I guess once the reservations started to come in they stopped offering the choice??

Seems to me they are going to have to do what was done at BWV to solve the boardwalk view problem and create two views at SSR and guarantee at time of booking

When I reserved our 7 nights at SSR I asked the CM for a DTD view so that we can see the fireworks at midnight. My DF loves fireworks. He said he wouldn't guarantee anything, but it was noted.

Two weeks ago when I booked for late July, early August, I was asked if I wanted a DTD view. She said it would be nice for the view of the fireworks. I said yes, and she noted my request in the computer. I took that to mean it wasn't guaranteed, but they would try.
