We want to go from SSR to Fort Wilderness to pick up one of the “ to go” meals. We actually will likely eat it there on the picnic tables.
We will have a car, trying to decide the best way to go. If we drove to FW don’t we have to park somewhere and use their internal bus system? We are thinking of driving to TTC , ferry to M! And then ferry to FW.
Best idea? Any other ideas? We are using the car to avoid Disney buses this trip, just out of an abundance of caution (we are sixty somethings)
Thank you!

Yes to drive to the Fort and then you do have to use and internal Fort bus to get down to P&J's. Or walk the length of the Fort. And I don't know if the Security Guard will let you in for a Quick Service eatery because I had heard Disney was only letting in guests with reservations for Table Service (which the Fort has none currently) at their resorts.

But you could certainly drive to TTC, ferry to MK, and then boat to the Fort. That would certainly work. It would take a while but it would be relaxing and enjoyable if the weather cooperated. That would fulfill your goal of avoiding the busses.

Also be advised that Trails End restaurant is closed currently but P&J's is open so they removed some of the tables on the Trails End side to allow for socially distanced table eating inside for P&J customers. But you can certainly use the picnic tables outside if that's your tradition.

I'll be there in two weeks staying at the Fort and hope to eat some P&J's myself!

Good luck!
