SSR sold out

We are an SSR 160 member (Dec). Is there anything special for SSR members when it is sold out? Or does it just mean the DVC team now moves to AKL? lol

nothing special for you. the sales teams may get something. they are not moving to AKV - just selling it at SSR. probably will sell BLT (or whatever it is called) there too.

My Guide told me im 28 on a waitlist for December UY so im confused about that if you telling my Decembers open.

We were told on Saturday that there were only 183 points left for an Oct UY at SSR but that there were 25 people on the waiting list for them. We are #26 and still waiting to hear if we can buy more points.

Our guide said that Feb UY was sold out completely because she had checked for someone else earlier that day.

I was able to get SSR feb. UY on WED!!!!!!!!!!

We just bought 185 points @ SSR with a December use year. My guide checked the computer while I was on the phone with him and he said the points were avalible.

I was wondering about any of the resorts ever being "sold out." After all, when Disney exercises ROFR, they take those contracts and re-sell them. I guess what we're talking about here are the initial units and anything they now have in inventory from ROFR. However, they will still (from time to time) get more inventory at any and all resorts - correct??

I just added on a 100 points and got a Aug UY and 2007 points also. You should get 2007 Dec points.

We just added 200 points with a June UY last Friday. We were able to get 2007 points, $500 gift card, and $10/point discount. We were told last Thursday by our guide that she expected inventory to last 10 days to a couple of weeks.

Sounds like they are winding things down!

That is probably true, although Disney could choose not to exercise ROFR and therefore not take back that inventory, if they wanted.

By the way, if SSR is sold out, what happens to the SSR models? I believe there is a 2-bedroom lock-out model and a Grand Villa model. Won't they eventually be declared into inventory, opening up a few more points for sale? This is what happened at Boardwalk once the sales center moved to SSR.

SSR is not yet sold out. I just bought into DVC yesterday (6/5) at SSR. They have only about 4 use year's left. My guide said they expect to be entirely sold out within 4-7 days. December has the lowest points left. Like myself, people are trying to get those '07 points and December is the only month left. My guide wasn't even sure if I would be able to get them and said she would call me today once the computers update.

But SSR still has some UYs left. Expect them to be all gone in about a week though.

Just an update. My guide just called me and said that I did get a December UY. So I picked up 160 pts at SSR.

Im number 5 on the list for my 50 point add on for a dec UY. I knew i jumped the gun when i only got 110 to start. Juet 2 weeks agao

We managed to get 100 pts and have just posted the papers to DVC.Our use yr is almost finished.

Managed to get 250 points last night with a Feb use year - confirmed it with my guide last week but only paid deposit last night.

Can't believe it! So excited!
