SSR Room Request

After reading thru these threads at what point do you make your room request. With the DVC owner when you are buying their pts or when you check into the room?

I make my Request when I make my Ressie.

If you renting points from an owner have them make your request when they book for you.

Most rooms are assigned when you get to the counter. They may have some leeway but if it's a busy time then no chenges will be avail.
