SSR request Paddock near bridge?

We are doing a split stay with the first part at SSR. We really want to check out the Paddock area, but would like to be near the bridge. Is that an OK request or is there a better request I could make?

I would think that would be an OK request. When you check in (I would skip online check in) see where they put you before you accept the room. Ask if there is a room in either of the 2 buildings next to the Paddock Pool area, that should put you close to the bridge.

In May we were in Paddock, one building further from the pool area & it felt like a long walk back to the pool or bus, or over to the Carriage House.

we requested the building by the bridge and got it. It was noted as a very specific request and was honored. If you look at the SSR map you can request the building number 55xx-58xx (I forget the ending numbers). We are at the very end of the building away from the pool but it's not like the hallways are very long anyway. Very happy with this location. I don't think I'd like to be on the end of the building by the pool. That's where the kiddie splash area is and there is a bell in there that rings loudly nonstop. I'm not sure if you can hear it in the rooms over there or not but I can't hear it over here.
