SSR Refurbishment!!

Hi all, we have booked to stay at the SSR next may, could anyone tell me if it has been refurbished? I have put a request in to stay at the congress park..

Yes! Congress Park has been refurbished. We stayed there last summer and it had just been recently redone and it was beautiful!! You will love it there! We had a view of DTD and the kids loved it!

great!! we are hoping to get a downtown view fingers crossed we stayed in the springs section last time we were there, so we fancied a change next year.. is it far from the main pool at the springs?

Just realize that the pathway to DTD from Congress Park is closed until Disney Springs opens- so that part is closed even though room renovation is finished. You will have to take a bus, take the boat, or take the path from the other side of the resort to get to DTD.

ok - thx for that rlovew - just when is Springs meant to reopen?

Do you mean the Spa? I thought the rest of the resort was open as usual.
