Do any / all SSR buildings have elevators?
Thanks :)

All SSR buildings have elevators (and all yet to be opened will have elevators).

They are easily accessible from the central area of each building and you can drive right up to the walk in front of the building to transfer luggage easily.

Yes and they are designed beautifully. The tilework on the floor is amazing :) I forgot to take a pic since I told Dh I would love similar work somewhere in our house :)

They all have elevator like Doc said, but if your room is at the end of the building, you will have a long winding walk over to it from the elevators. We used the elevator to start moving our stuff up to the room, then used the stairs just two doors down from our room at the end of the building. We moved our car closer to the stairs and used them exclusively for the rest of the stay.

Thanks, everyone - just what I needed to know. Fingers crossed that I can make our reservations this week!

Once again, different people have different definitions. We stayed in room 2810 - as far from the elevator as you can get - and found it a quick walk; we only passed by about 6 or 7 guest room doors on the way. If you want to talk "long walk from the elevator", I've got about a dozen Las Vegas hotels - starting with the MGM Grand - to show you.... ;)

Or The Luxor! :smooth:

Just to make sure that no one is intimidated by the walk to the elevators at SSR, you can view the floorplans on Doc's site. http://disneydoc.homestead.com/SSRFloor.html
The elevators are just to the right as you enter the building (the squares with the X in the middle).

When you are hauling luggage from the elevator and trying to take as much as possible on each trip, it is a long way over to the last room on the end. I felt like I was over at the Boardwalk. It was much easier to take the stairs each time.
