We got some pixie dust (or at least it feels that way) and were able to get a 1br for Dec 12-15 using our developer points.

I've looked at the floor plan but I can't tell for sure - is there a separate shower stall or jsut a combo whirlpool tub/shower? Since we don't have a whirlpool tub at home I'm just guessing you can't use bubble bath in it, but can you use bath salts or some other good smelling stuff?

Will it be too cold in Dec to use the hot tubs? I doubt I'll be in the pool but maybe a dip in the hot tub after a day at the parks would be nice. Will they still have towels out? (we normally don't go in the winter so I'm not sure)

Are we going to get spoiled by staying in a 1br for our first dvc stay? Something tells me we will, even if only for the king size bed. I doubt we'll use the kitchen for more than just the fridge since neither of us enjoy cooking on vacation but we might just like that extra space.

Does the community hall only have kids type activites or would it be worth it for DH and I to check it out?

I'm sure I'll have more questions later but thanks in advance for all your help.

There is a separate shower - the way it is laid out the whirlpool tub and a vanity are part of the master bedroom, then there is a door that leads to the bathroom which contains a shower, another vanity and a toilet (in it's own closet). There is also a door that leads to the bathroom area from the living room. I have no idea about using products in the whirlpool, but my guess would be if they didn't foam up too much then it would be fine.

We have went once in Dec and four times in Jan/Feb - we swam every single trip. On only one of our trips would I say it was too cold, but we did anyway because we are from the NW and to us 65 is swimmin weather, LOL. :thumbsup2 Not really, but since the the pools were heated it wasn't too bad in the pool, just getting out was horrible. This last trip we took was for 2 weeks in Dec, every day was at least 75 and we had a couple of 80+ days in there too. We tend to go for long periods though so even if it is cold for part of our trip we tend to get a bit lucky and have a few nice days somewhere. Just take a suit and hope for the best! They definitely have pool towels all the time and the lifeguards are even on at the main pool, it is pretty funny to see the lifeguards all bundled up and wearing gloves while there are swimmers in the water, LOL. :rotfl:

Yes, you will get spoiled by the 1BR, no question about it. :lovestruc :scared1:

I would say the community hall was geared more towards 6-16 year olds, but there are complimentary movie rentals and a ping pong table that can be fun, as well as the surrey bikes you can rent there too - that is fun.

Have a great trip, we'll be there in February!
