SSR Questions

My reservations are finally all set after playing the 11 month and 7 month window booking game. Two nights at VWL in a 2 BR and 6 nights at SSR GV! I would love to get input/recommendations for SSR. Where to request, pros, cons, etc. We ussually stay at VWL but wanted to check out the GV. We are 4 adults and five children(3,7,8,10,11). Help!

I hope you have all your guests on the reservation at VWL because you are actually over the room occupancy for a two bedroom. Your 3 yr old now counts to go over the 8 allowed in the room.

The way I understood it was that she is allowed to stay but no extra bedding is given. At least this is what member services has told me.

Congrats Julie!

We've only been to SSR once and that was last year when just the Congress section was open. We really liked though and requested it again for our trip in 2 days!! The big pro was that it is the closest to DTD so we often made the quick 5/10 min walk over to catch a bus, eat, or go shopping. I believe the Springs section is closest to the pool and the registration area in case that is important to you. At least when we were there last year the way the buses operated you could just catch a bus to go back and forth from the main area so it wasn't a big deal for us. Hope that helps!

First of all, HAVE A MICKEY MAGICAL TIME!

There's a horse and carriage ride available in the evenings at SSR your family might enjoy this! DTD is sucha short walk to Lego Land and Mceedees, if you need a break from park food or cooking!
