SSR - Pref Views (?)

When I booked my ressies at SSR for NYE, I started wondering why SSR doesn't split up the points some and provide 2 different categories for views. Kinda like BWV, they could charge a few extra points for a DTD view, and a little less for the other views.

Think it might happen?

If they can sell out without doing this then why bother? Much more likely that they will guarantee view types. This would give SSR owners some booking advantage over others.

As the resort gets bigger and bigger, I have a feeling that more and more people will start requesting Congress Park area etc so they can have the DTD view...

I agree about the Golf Course views. Those are going to be nice, plus they will have a themed pool in that area also. They will probably be more popular than DTD view.

That's what I really like about SSR, you have a better chance of getting a great view (DTD, Golf Course) or Great location (The Springs) than at other DVC's. It's mostly do or die at the others.

I did ask a VIP about guaranteed view categories (on 2 different occasions) and she said it was something to consider. I think it would take a campaign by SSR members to really get it though.

I really think DTD View should be a guaranteed view category.

I don't think they could change the number of points for a resort view unless it was in already in the Public Offering Statement.

also due to the location within each building the dedicated 2 bedroom villas do not have direct views of Downtown Disney from Congress Park.
