Those were AWESOME!!! Thanks for the smile!

I love the one with the family in the Carriage. That is priceless. We had the darker carriage but I think I like the white better!

I didnt take pics of our 1 bedroom when we were there so yours are great and make me homesick and I've only been back for 1 1/2 weeks! We were there May 28 -June 10, when did you visit?

Hi Liferbabe!

We were there at the same time 5/31-6/3. I have had no luck meeting up with any other DISers. I keep embarrassing myself asking anyone wearing lime green.

My DH was going to skip to carriage ride as we were told when we made the reservation that it is 5 max but the driver said 6 was fine & there was plenty of room.

Thanks so much for posting this pics! We stayed in a 2 bedroom last week and our pictures bring back memories! I was wondering about the carriage ride. Can you tell me how much it costs and what route it took? I never saw anyone taking a ride and it's on my list for "next time". Thanks!

Excellent pictures!! We are staying at SSR for 2 weeks in September, starting in a one bedroom then moving to a studio for the second week. This will our first trip home - can't wait!!!

The carriage ride is $35. We also tipped the driver $10 (we really liked him)

You meet the carriage near the boat dock & it takes you throughout SSR. The ride is 30 minutes.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures! I'm soooo jealous that you did the carriage ride! (A definite must-do on our next trip.) I'm really home-sick now!

Do the dedicated 2 bedrooms have 2 queen beds in them?

We haven't stayed at SSR yet, but it looks beautiful!

Thanks so much for the pictures -- they bring back so many happy memories for me!! Glad you had a fun trip!!

Thanks for the pics...we leave tomorrow for what is looking more like a rainy weekend at SSR. We may be getting to know the resort better than expected!

Thanks for sharing.... we can't wait to go back in August. We have been in that same building 3 times. Great location! Love your pics.

We did too. We had requested Springs Upper floor but when we checked in we were assigned Paddocks/Patio. The CM took out the map & showed me 4 rooms in Springs section that would be available later in the day so I choose this one. What was nice too is you could see the buses pulling up & where they were going so if an MK bus just passed we took out time getting ready for the next one.

Cool! I didn't realize that the 2nd bedroom has a double sink in the bathroom. Is this in dedicated units only or in all 2 bedrooms at SSR? Or maybe dedicateds in all DVC units have double sinks? We've only stayed in lock-off 2 bedrooms.

Lovely pics, thanks for sharing. We are going on our first SSR trip in Oct and have 2 dedicated 2 bedroom villas reserved for our children and grandchildren. I can't wait. It looks beautiful!

Thanks for the photos. SSR is the biggest and best DVC has to offer. :cool1: Best location, best rooms, best pool, best dining at AP and the spa!!!!! :thumbsup2 SSR will soon be the most requested of the DVC Resorts. :woohoo: You know hat they say bigger really is better. :yay:

Great pics! You really captured the serenity of the resort. Even the room decor just makes you go ahhhhh! This is pure torture, I have to wait 90 more days to go home. Thanks again.
