SSR - Out of points after 1 day

After all the excitement from yesterdays first time reservation (DVC now seems real), I used up all my points in one day!!!!

I made a reservation for us, and booked a stay for my parents as a gift for their 40th wedding anniversary.

Now I know why everyone talks about adding points. But when I think about it, we bought the minimum 150pts, and it basically gave us a pretty good stretch of time the way we booked.

I know we have many years and experiences to go, but we have had great success with our DVC salesman, Phone reps at MS, and the ease of making reservations.

So far we could not be more pleased. Thanks for all the help, support, stories, and fun this board supplies.

I used 2004 and almost all of 2005 points for our trip in October and we have 200 points! My DH thinks it is fine since he wants to do 2 week vacations every other year. I don't see anything wrong with doing them every year! As soon as he says the word, we're getting an add-on!

I dont think I would have any shot suggestion an add on now. But maybe after our first trip home, the Disney Magic will work on DW

Addonitis will hit you soon! We bought 200 points initially (just Dh and I ) and added another 100 within one year. It's amazing how many different ways you find to use your points (relative's, x-tra trips, etc.). I'm already finding myself dreaming of 'just 100 more'.
