SSR Non Preferred Room Requests

I would like to request this building in grandstand section for my son and fiancé when they visit in august. What’s the best way to do it? Via online check in (not sure if SSR online check in offers this level of detail) or member services? We just got back from a BLT stay and requested high floor from member services and didn’t get it. Our room was fine but we didn’t get a high floor. Thx in advance 😊
Regardless of how you request; it does not improve your chance of getting it. Not everyone can get what they ask for. If you want Grandstand I would not ask for anything other than that.

If you want to request a specific building you have to do it via Member Services. If you just want Grandstand you can do it via online check-in. But, as they will tell you....requests are requests and not guarantees.

We use the Touring Plans room finder room request process. I love their resort maps and room views, and they have a feature that sends a room request for you. It also has a "recommended string", something like Grandstand, 2nd floor, West facing, rooms 2--- thru 3---" fill in the details for the room you love.

I agree that your best chance will be to chat/email/call MS and not make your request too strict. I would tell MS that my 1st priority is Grandstand and my second priority is the 8500 Grandstand building.

Thx for your replies … I’m just interested anywhere in grandstand in that 8500-8836 area, I didn’t mean bldg 8500 specifically. Def not gonna be any more specific than that! I need to call member services regarding my sons member number (we put him on deed) so I’ll mention the section request
