SSR -non DVC stay

I have a cash reservation at SSR booked through Disney and am wondering if these rooms are in specific places. The website says that a limited number of rooms are available through Disney and obviously the vast majority are DVC owned. Does anybody know if these are specific rooms in specific areas or just that Disney has a certain amount of rooms available at the resort? Hope that makes sense

I think the rooms can be anywhere that has an available room, depending on how busy the resort is.

We stayed at SSR in January before we knew about DVC- we had a beautiful 2 bedroom in congress park! I assume they are all over too. By the way, we were upgraded (from a 1 br)- so you might try asking!
