If you're in a one bedroom or larger, you should automatically have a high chair in one of the closets. We stayed in one bedrooms frequently when our kids were high chair age, and we never had to ask for one.
We have our first long stay there in less than 4 weeks. Doing a 1 BR for 15 nights. We've stayed in the studio for a couple of 2 night stays. Looking forward to taking advantage of Disney Springs.

We were just there for the first time and in the 1500 building of Congress Park. We loved the location. It was close enough to walk to the High Springs pool (maybe 5-10 minutes) but we also had the quiet pool right outside our door. From our room to Disney Springs entrance was less than a half a mile. We fell in love with SSR.
I would call it more from The Springs, but yes, there is a path to the West Side of DS that is open during daylight hours only. It’s really a walking path to the Strawberry parking lot, which you then have to walk the length of around the perimeter; you end up near the Cirque show.
Is there an actual lock/card reader on the gate at Paddock? I don't remember needing to scan anything to get in there (although I will admit I've only been there twice, the most recent being in 2021).
Nope, just a regular gate. I couldn't get it to open when I tried, and there didn't seem to be anyone there. It was around 8am :/
The boats are all wheelchair accessible. There’s a special place where they can be secured.
My first thought is DS. You're right next door, so you have all of the activities, shopping, and dining available to you. It also gives you access to all busses to all other resorts as well, so there can be day trips to other resorts for dining, etc. Not as easy as, say, staying on the Monorail loop to resort hop, but it does give you access to 100% of the resorts. All of that is just a short walk or boat ride away.
We did a short adults trip recently. We loved having DS right there for dining (Raglan Road dinner and Sangria Hour at Jaleo!) and listening to live music. We also took advantage of the buses or used Lyft to explore other resorts. AKL and WL are definitely worth a visit if you've never been.
