SSR in August??

Hi newbie to the DVC here with a question. How likely is it we'll be able to book a studio or 1 bedroom at SSR in January for an August week. We want to use up our developer points and then move over to AKV "home." We are booking AKV in the next couple of days. Hoping there will still be availabilities for August at SSR. TIA

Given the size of SSR I'd be shocked if you could'nt secure a room. Good Luck!

We've gone in August twice and never had a problem booking.

I've not had any difficulty in requesting time at SSR

I've never had problems booking at any resort in Aug, with the exception of AKV. I tried to book there this year at 5 months out, but there was no availability. So, break my heart, we had to stay at VWL!!!

Overall, we've had great luck even at the 5 - 6 month mark!
