SSR GV balconies?

Is it true that the SSR grand villa balconies are the same size as a studio & 1 or 2 bedroom unit and there is only 1 of them? Seems small for the size of the unit compared to the other dvc grand villas. Those of you that have stayed in a gv at SSR, how did you manage with a large group and the small balcony?

We had a very large group for our Family Reunion and I thought it would be an issue, it wasnt.

The balcony is off the Dining area and Kitchen and since we were there in June, most preferred to be in the A/C and not the heat. We mostly gathered in the Dining room and Living room.

It also helped that they all had studios and could sit out on their own patio if they chose.

When it is just my family, I spend alot of time relaxing on my patio, but the group dynamic is much different and I wanted to be with the group, so we were either inside or out at the pool.

Despite the different layout, my family truly enjoyed our SSR Grand Villa and everyone was wowed by it and loved it and SSR. There are so many great rooms in the Grand Villa that the patio space was not missed
