SSR compared to BWV

Hi guys! My family just bought into the Disney Vacation Club at the Saratoga Springs Resort. We are planning a trip in August. If a studio is not available at BCV, we will probably rent a studio at the BWV or the SSR. We were wondering how the SSR resort compares to the BWV. Thanks everybody!

They are different. You have the added benefit with BWV being near Epcot and MGM and the Boardwalk itself with all the restaurants and hang-outs adds it's own ambiance. SSR, while still being under construction, is more quiet right now. There will be less people at the pools and on the transportation at SSR. I'm not a fan of crowds so SSR worked great for us.

I just want to add that I would recommend calling ASAP to reserve a room somewhere. You're only two months away from your travel dates, which will certainly limit availability.

As long as you aren't borrowing points from another Use Year, you can always cancel or alter the reservation if you decide to change your travel dates (up to 30 days prior to arrival, of course).

So, either agree on some dates quickly, or make an educated guess now and alter the trip later if necessary.
