SSR bus route?

Does anyone recall the order the SSR bus stops are done in? And is the bus route at SSR anything like OKW? (In , down, loop, back, turn, down loop, back, turn... you get the point ... worse than the teacups some days)

I have a hard time standing for very long on buses & trains and would like to either make sure I'm at a stop I'll be able to find a seat or at least at the last stop in order to minimize the issue.

If I remember right it is Grand Stand, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park, Springs, The DTD bus I believe goes the other direction.

This is correct for the regular park busses and they will exit out the main northern gate. As Dave stated, DTD bus is different: Springs, Grandstand, Carousel, Paddocks and then Congress Park, exiting out the east gate. Basically it will go in a clockwise circle around the resort.

Thanks Dave & vandy! It sounds like I should request Grand Stand or Springs and cross my fingers they have something in those areas available when I check in.

If you want to be sure to get a seat, you may want to avoid the Springs or Congress Park sections. Grandstand and Carousel are going to be the first two stops.

I stayed at the Springs last Thanksgiving week and we rarely had a problem (though we tend to be early birds) but the busses were definitely fuller when we got on than the previous year when we stayed at Carousel.

Your best bet is definitely Grandstand, though.

The other thing about the SSR bus loop is that it's not so loopy as OKW, by any means. It's a big loop around the resort, of course, but you aren't driving to the end of the various neighborhoods, turning around and back out again - it's more like the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway than the Teacups.

I agree, if you want to board a less crowded bus you want to stay at Grandstand or walk over to there. If you try getting a bus around a park opening time and the resort is full, you may get on a bus at Springs. I seen it that no one could get on there.

The Grandstand stop is an in and back out stop, similar to the OKW Turtle, South Point, or Miller's stops.

The remaining SSR stops are in a loop going clockwise around the resort.

If you ask for a seat, someone will probably give it to you. I'm trying to teach that to my sons and to remember to do it myself. I do notice a lot of people giving up seats to ladies, older people and dads with kids sleeping in their arms.
