SSR building openings...

I think I saw it mentioned somewhere (here or on DVC website?) about how they will open the SSR buildings. I know that they are building the first four buildings now, and there are going to be 3 more sets of four buildings... for a total of 16 buildings, is that right? Or was it a total of 12 buildings?

My question is, in December of '04, how many SSR buildings should be open (assuming they are on schedule).

By December 2004 there should be four buildings open. The first four are to open- one per month- beginning this May.

The remaining 8 (for a total of 12 buildings) are supposed to open- one per month- beginning in January, 2005. Construction is underway on the next phase and at least two foundations were being poured a month ago.

There is certainly enough land available for many more buildings, should a decision be made to expand the currently announced size of the resort.

How much do DVC charge for a point in SSR?

SSR is currently selling at $89 per point- with a pre-opening incentive of $5 per point - bringing the sales price to $84 per point on purchases of 100 points or more.

New members must purchase a minimum of 150 points thru Disney. Resales can be purchased for as few as 25 points- whejn available. SSR has very few resales available at this time (since it's not even open yet!)
