SSR Building 4A - Anyone Else??????

Our deposit went through on October 28th and we have 1E.

VanHouten, our use year is also in April so I wonder if that has something to do with the building assignments.

I would guess that alot of the decision which unit you get depends on the number of points you are buying.

I'm anxiously awaiting our corrected contracts, so we can be official!

Just found out today. I put a deposit down on Oct 28th. I am in Unit 1I and bldg 1. I have a May 17th occupancy date. Hope this helps.

I bought on 10/18 and we are in building 3A

Our Down Payment was made on Oct. 24th (signed all the papers while we were there on vacation) paperwork says unit 3B with occupancy date of June 1st.

our dvc purchase was on nov 6 we have unit 1
with a date may 17

We got ours yesterday (nov 14) and it lists 1C with 5/17 occupancy date. I am thinking about making reservations for Sept / Oct once December 1st hits.

Hope to be home in the fall

I too have just bought at SSR Correct me if I am wrong but how can someone reserve a room starting in December if they don't have points yet. I have an April use year, doesn't that mean I don't have points till then and cannot reserve until points are available to me. I have read about others saying they have April, May, June ..ect use years but state that on Dec, 1 they are going to make their reservations. I am confused.

Another 4Aer here. Put the deposit down the last day they offered the $10 per point credit...so I think that was October 31st???

You can make reservations starting in December even though your use year is April, that is true. Is it also true that you won't have points until April.

The thing is, you won't be making your reservations for a trip before April, you will be making reservations for a trip after April. Since the trip is going to be after April, you will have points available.

Disney knows you have points coming on April so you can make reservations to use them.

I have 1L ,sept 25, feb use year, may 17, I was told could make ressie on dec 1,and yesterday I got a litho with a letter that said could make ressies on Dec 3 ,but I'm calling on DEC 1 and see what happens.

I have the feeling the phones will be jammed on Dec 1 Anyway - I am going to try to make reservations, why not. All they can do is say no!

Looking for fall (sept - nov) so hopefully it should not be a problem. Dont even care what resort i get (though I would like to go home first), so hopefully it will be smooth.

You won't be within the 7-month reservation window for any of the other resorts, so it's SSR or nothing if you want to reserve 12/1.
