SSR = any noise from DTD ??

I have a friend who is considering staying at Saratoga Springs, but is concerned about any noise from Downtown Disney. Is there any?

I didn't here anything. I was staying in the Paddock section in the building nearest Congress Park.

We have stayed in Congress Park, down towards the West End of DTD. Honestly, from the room we didnt hear anything unless we had the balcony doors open. Nothing really loud, if doors were shut, it was quiet.

We've stayed in Congress Park twice, and the only noise I heard was from kids running down the hallway or stairs during the day - and that only happened a couple of times. Otherwise it was very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing!

When SSR was first constructed, Disney was launching fireworks at DTD every night of the week. The resort was built to block out the noise of the fireworks. I can't imagine anyone having issues--particularly now that the fireworks have gone the way of the dodo.

Stayed in Congress Park with a DTD view during this past June in the 1000 building complex (wanted to be within walking distance of DTD). This is one that is physically closest to DTD. Disney has taken great precautions in installing double pane glass and added insulation for sound proofing for the water view rooms.. Absolutely no noise even when Pleasure Island was in full swing at night. Slept like a baby. I’ve attached a picture of our balcony view.

Never heard a peep with the door closed....

Funny thing was their was music playing all the time....
Even early in day....

It was nice to sit on balcony listen to music and look at the view.
