SSR and buy at BCV

Here is a question... I own currently at SSR, I have 250 points with SSR. This means that in January I can start booking at SSR for Nov.

If I was to buy a small BCV resale... Lets say 50 points..

IN January can I book a vacation for BCV for Nov... and lets say the vacation is 275 points.

You can only book the BCV points at the 11-month window at BCV. At the 7-month window, you can book the SSR points at BCV.

Nope, as Jax said, the booking priority stays with the points. You only get the 11 month window at that resort with it's points. The SSR points would have to wait until the 7 month window unless they are used at SSR.

What some have done is to buy that small contract and bank/borrow to have a stay with 11 month booking priority with 100/150pts every 2/3 years at that resort. So you could use those points at BCV every couple of years and alternate your stays between SSR and BCV. Just a thought...

Actually, you could book a November 2009 vacation at SSR beginning in December 2008 - 11 months prior to your desired check out date.

Again, the 11 month window for a November 2009 vacation opens in December 2008. As others have already posted, only the 50 BCV points can be used to make a reservation prior to the opening of the 7 month window.

However, with banking and borrowing, you could have up to 2 times the number of BCV points to use (every other year) or up to 3 times the number of BCV points to use (every third year) during the home resort booking period.

You cannot use SSR points (or any other resort's points) to book at BCV until the 7 month window opens. For a November 2009 vacation, the 7 month window would open in April 2009.
