SSR-2br availability

We had planned a trip to SSR for the week of Easter, and now will have to change the reservation to June, but I'm not sure which week in June yet, either the 10-18th or 16-24th. Although I know it may be probably Jan. before I can confirm travel dates, am I pushing my luck on getting a 2br or does anyone think I will still be able to reserve one. I really don't want to wait that long, but if I have to wait longer than Jan, about how long does anyone think I can wait to reserve and still get one?

Early is always best. But that being said, SSR is a very large property and is one of the last to book up.

If it were me, I'd take my best guess and reserve one of the June weeks now. If I guess wrong, I'm no worse off - I'd just cancel that reservation and try to book the correct week when I know for sure in January.

As long as you cancel a reservation at lest 31 days in advance, there is no penalty - you just get points back.

If you have enough points to book both June weeks now (without borrowing), I'd go ahead and do that now. You can cancel the week you don't need in January when the dates are firm.

SSR has many 2 bedrooms - I think you will still be able to get one for June even if you have to wait until January to book.

To be safe you should do as advised and book a week right now, then call to change it later if needed. Having said that, we have booked a stay for both the first and second week of June as late as February and had no problems getting a 2 BR at SSR.
