SSMC2006 cruise friends

Annmarie, I hope whatever they are doing in the next couple of days gives you some relief.

I spent a month in the hospital before Cameron was born as well. Then as luck would have it, the docotr decided that Cameron was going to be born after the weekend and all our plans were made for Gary to be off of work and there. That Friday night, I took a turn for the worse. I remember calling home and letting the phone ring and ring over and over again, trying to get Gary to answer at 1 a.m. When he finally did, I said, we're having a baby, and he was like, yeah, on Monday. I kept saying, no, were having a baby now, you need to come to the hospital. Gary woke his daughter up, called a friend and dropped her off there and then came to the hospital. When he got there, he parked in the parking garage like he did every night/day he came to visit me, went to the front door and realized they were locked. He said he tried several doors before he realized they were all locked and then he ran around to the back of the hospital where the emergency department was. As he went inside, the security guard stopped him and wanted to know where he thought he was going at 2 a.m. Gary said, my wife's having a baby, and the guard was stumpted, as to what Gary had done with me. Gary said he kept telling them that his wife was already upstairs in the hospital. So much for that great plan!!!

Another week? I'm taking the kids to Hilton Head on 7/18. Gary won't check here so someone please call me if baby T doesn't make an appearance before then.

Are you ready Julie? Life as you know it is going to change drastically. As soon as you bring that little child home, your going to wonder how you thought your life was complete without him/her. I'm so excited for you and Matt!

Cindy - Hilton Head sounds like a lot of fun!!!

We are ready - just waiting for baby :)

Hey there, I finally got a few moments to get on the computer!!!

Annmarie - Sorry to hear how things are going. Keep my fingers crossed and sprinkling some pixie dust for you. Any time in the hospital stinks (unless you are bringing a new littlo one into the world)

Cindy - Can I join you in HH? I have been feeling little frazeled lately and could use some R&R.

Julie - Well I guess we have to wait a little longer for "George". That's ok he/she will show up when the time is right. And I don't mean for you either. They just come along whenever they feel like it. My water broke with Nick in the middle of the night and then I started getting contractions but I waited a couple of hours before I woke Jeff and then we get to the hospital at like 6am and my contractions stopped! That bugger waited until just befoe 11pm to finally show himself.
I told Jeff if we had another kid I was waiting till the baby was crowning before I went to the hospital so I wouldn't have to just lay around and wait (I get a little impatient some times).

Thanks for your well wishes! I am a little nervous about the procedure tomorrow but need to stay positive and hope to be back on my feet in no time :thumbsup2

Enjoy the day. Annmarie

Annmarie - I hope the surgery today is going well!!!

Baby update - no baby here... lol!

Leaving for WDW at 3:30 in the morning! We are taking our daughter and her family. This will be Ryleigh's FIRST trip to see Mickey ::MickeyMo (she loves him) and HER Princess princess: (her middle name is Aurora) So papa will have PLENTY of pics to scrapbook when we get home. Raegan is going for the second time so she has been VERY excited too.

I will check in as time allows

GOOD LUCK Julie, Ann Marie, and anyone else who needs.

Thought I would pop in and say hello - been very busy with the grands and the grands-to-be's momma.
But, I'm finally getting into travel mode - heading out to Cali for a week to spend time with my aunt who is going to be 80. Then I'll be back for 10 days and finally do a road trip to visit with my sis in Delaware for a few days.

Hope everyone is feeling better soon and Julie - relax while you can - your lil' one will be here before you know it.

Enjoy what's left of summer - it's going by so fast!

Steve have a great trip with the grand daughters!

Annmarie I hope your surgery went well today.

Mary have a great trip to California. My son keeps bugging us to come out for a visit, so we might just have to look into planning a trip out that way.

And when baby T arrives and lets out a loud cry, you'll know the reason:

You'd cry too if you had to give up your indoor swimming pool!! :lmao:

Hope you hear that precious cry soon!

Julie - I'm sure that the waiting is hard, but hey, look at it this way, Baby T just might share his/her birthday with someone special, ME!!! :rotfl2: The odds of July 18th are looking better and better. ;)

Hummmmm......
I forgot what day I thought Baby T was going to arrive. Guess I'll have to check and see what day.

:cake: :bday: Happy Birthday Amy, a day early. :bday: :cake:

Welcome to the world Baby T as well as I know you'll make your grand appearance before we get back. If you don't, mama's going to kick you out for sure.

The boys and I are off to Hilton Head sometime tomorrow. I'm apprehensive about making the drive myself - mostly through the mountains. Our plan as of right now is to spend Saturday night in the next town over from Hilton Head. No internet access so I hope everyone has a great week and a half. I know we will. :dance3:

:cake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY :cake:
Cinday have a great trip. Dont' let the mountain driving bother you, it will be easier than you think. I'm sure it will be a fun time and a new experience for you!

We're camping this weekend and meeting up with friends and spending some time out on their boat. Hopefully the isolated showers they are talking about will not happen.

Happy Birthday, Amy!

Cindy, Have a great trip! Don't worry about the mountain driving! Its not that bad at all! I did it just me and the girls, and it was fine! We went to North Carolina! Be Safe!

Gail...Hope the showers stay away! Have a fun time camping!
