...but I made our ressies for our trip next Dec and plan on putting the confirmation letter in one of my DH's Christmas gifts!!! :bounce: I haven't even told the kids (they can't keep secrets!) and if I don't tell someone, I'm gonna bust!!!!!!!!!!!!:jumping1:

That is wonderful, it will be a gift that will bring joy all year as you think and plan about your trip. What fun!

How exciting! I promise not to tell ;)

Whenever I think I am going to slip I come here. I can't believe we have kept it a secret since May. I can't wait to see the kids faces when we tell them we are leaving in a few hours on Christmas morning. The only problem I have had is with 14 DS nosing around when I am on the boards and I am afraid he is going to see my countdown! Good luck and I won't tell!

Now Winniedapooh, the way you keep teasing the kids with my trip, they'll never figure it out!

(We're seven houses away from each other at Windsor Palms)

We have decided to 'spill the beans' tonight and tell the kids about our surprise trip to WDW. I have already told them at 9:00 pm tonight we are watching a TV show together as a family (Samantha Brown's special on the Travel Channel about Holidays at WDW). After it is over we are going to say, "Guess where we are going to be 1 week from tonight!"

I can't believe it....next week at this time we will be at WDW! It is SO cold here right now (in the high 20's). I am hoping for sunshine and warmth!

So I only have to keep the surprise 4 more hours!

So many excellent and generous parents. God love ya! And Happy holidays!

My son who is 8 knows we are going to Disney (its his first time) in February. Any ideas on a way to package something to let him know that even though we are going in February it is part of his Christmas gift from mom and dad and grandma?

What about a stuffed Mickey holding his park ticket? :p

That is EXACTLY what I did!!! My 11 yr old DS loves Goofy and my 7 yr old DS loves Donald so a quick trip to the Disney Store to hit a BIG sale and I taped thier parkhoppers and thier DQ tix to the hands of the stuffed characters and they will be under the tree!! We are going in April! I can't wait!!!!

My parents always got us an ornament for the tree related to the surprise gift -- a Mickey & Minnie for a trip to Disneyland, an ice skate for Ice Capades tickets, etc.
